Troparion to St. Alypius
You depicted the images of saints on tablets / as the artful painter, O all-praiseworthy Alypius, / you wrote the good deeds of those hastily on the tablet of your heart, / and thus, you are adorned like an icon with the grace of priesthood / by Christ the God and the Savior of our souls.
Kontakion to St. Alypius
You had a divine touch inside you since your youth, and you were trained in iconography; / And when the heaven-like Church of the Mother of God was being painted, / you were there / and saw the Holy Spirit’s radiance / from whom you received the work of miracles, / for your icons worked wonders, / for that matter, we honor and admire you, O wondrous Alypius.
